Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday, I read all the comments <3
Also, as for the aforementioned Alzheimer's fundraising the total was well over £900 in the end so thank you so so so muuuch to everyone that made that possible. My Grandad's Alzheimer's is getting worse, but to know this money goes to towards vital research makes me push on with the fundraising. I'll either for the 9 mile walk again next year or try and think of something different to do!
So things are a little quiet on the cosplay & dA front for me, and whilst both are unlikely to change in that respect I am beginning to get my arse in gear for Alcon in September. My main (and mebbe only new cosplay due to monnies) will hopefulllllly be Maya from Borderlands 2. Ever since I played BL1 I have been obsessed with this game, and have completed BL1 & 2 more times than I can count xD. It's been a while since I've been this excited about a costume, so here's hoping it all pays off!
Thus far I've completed her phaselock, semi-completed her class mod (which is far from neat & perfect xD), and just started making her shield. Every now and then I throw up a progress post on my tumblr, but here's one I put up a week or so ago
