I felt a need to update really

omg .... expo's only next week O.o, thats crept up so fast, so many things to do. O GOODNESS SO MANY THINGS .... Neliel needs finishing and so does Q.O.H Larxene *flails* I'm going to use next Monday to Wednesday to finish everything since thursday and friday I'll be at Mar-Mar's.

Neliel and Larxene are defiently my two favourite cosplays now. Only really been a Neliel cosplayer for a couple of months really xD. But Larrrxene blimey ive been cosplaying her since January 2007, so a year and 5 months now. I'll never get bored of Larxene, ever since I played KH in 2006 I fell in love with the game <3. I still remember when my organization coat arrived I wore it for hours, its like my baby xD.

I was quite unhappy not being able to cosplay Larxene much last year, 3 times in one year is not alot, twice at expos then once at a august picnic. I cosplayed temari so much because she was my only other cosplay at the time and was MUCH cooler for the summer.

Now it seems Kingdom hearts isnt as welcome at picnics, does it really matter who cosplays what, its not an organized event. It was just a mere coincidence that the majority of cosplayers last year were naruto, because when you think about it, there much easier to wear in the summer. At a November picnic last year I was temari, and I had fun but I was really cold, I only wear shorts under my kimono so its not practicle for winter weather.

We are still human beings, its obvious that not everyone is going to get along with everyone, all our personalities are so different so theres going to be moments when annoyances occur. My organization is an example, we are all so different yet we all get along for our love of Kingdom hearts. How does a big group of Naruto cosplayers differ from a big group of kingdom hearts cosplays. We are all still individuals and would be nice to be treated so sometimes rather than 'those Couk'. Yes our group does sit together alot, but when you think about it, there are loads of other small groups within a picnic, since we all have the same cosplay its taken as ignorance when it isnt.

We all know 2008 didnt get off to the best of starts for everybody, but is there any real need to hold a grudge against it. I still sense so much tension. Also if someone wanders off for a bit or sits somewhere a bit further off, dont take it to heart or bitch. At the last few picnics Ive lazed about by a tree because I wanted to sleep, not for any other reason. The picnics are sometimes to big to be with everyone all the time, espicially when groups go to different places, no-one is able to split them selves in two so just get on with what your doing, what happens...happens.

I never expected this Journal to go on like this, it was intended to just end with a couple of paragraphs regarding expo stuff, but since all this has been on my mind I wanted to talk about it.

People who have known me since the very beginning know what im like and who I am, im not a nasty person, the only time im a real bitch is when Im Larxene. I love being in character so much so I act like her at work, stand like her and even quote her. The best moment was when my mum went "Laura, you are such a sadist"

Cosplay has brought me so much confidence and so much happiness, yet I am still a shy person. At picnics and expos I am still shy about saying hello to new people. Like I said, we are cosplayers but we are still human beings.

People like Kelly and Jenn are two people that Ive become really close friends with, and going by a couple of their past 'rant' journals it seems they've picked up on negative vibes towards them. Why...? seriously, is it because they're actually have fun and are random, isnt that something we used to do at picnics.

I'm friends with almost everyone at picnics, and I dont always get to say hello to everyone, but that doesnt mean anything, half the time I forget and fall asleep in the grass or something.

Im not writing this as a point, argument or to say my opinion is better. I'm writing this because its been on my mind, and to see if people will think again if its worth getting so heated over stupid intricate details with have no real relevance.
